Xynteo’s Wadhwani Foundation, Cyient and Vikaasa Team Up to Support Healthcare Companies, Health News, ET HealthWorld

Mumbai, September 14, 2021: Xynteo’s Wadhwani Foundation, Cyient, and Vikaasa announce a partnership to support and accelerate the growth of small and medium-sized healthcare companies. Led by the Wadhwani Foundation’s Advantage program and the Tej project (led by Xynteo’s Vikaasa partnership), the collaboration will enable emerging healthcare companies to address systemic challenges in India’s healthcare innovation ecosystem.

There is significant investment in the public and private health sectors, but there is a gap in market access and clinical validation for innovation. This partnership aims to fill those gaps by forging transformative partnerships, catalyzing capital, and building capacity to enable medtech companies to grow. The collaboration will provide faster support to growth-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the healthcare ecosystem. The partnership will run two programs – building a hospital cohort and a medtech cohort. The coalition will also present a position paper focusing on recommendations to encourage innovation and scaling of SMEs in the healthcare sector.

The Hospital Cohort Program: TransformHealth, developed by Xynteo in collaboration with the Wadhwani Foundation, Cyient and Vikaasa, aims to provide access to expertise, facilities and support for technology advancement and skills building for the sustainable growth of hospitals. In addition, the MedTech cohort will focus on scaling and market access for MedTech SMEs across India.
