The Osgoode Township Museum will be auctioned for a virtual charity auction in June

OSGOODE – Last year the Osgoode Township Museum has offered free virtual painting evenings called Painting & Pixels via Zoom to connect with the community during these isolating times. Through this process and other artistic endeavors, the museum has collected 35 handcrafted works of art for auction.

The Virtual Charity Art Auction will take place from June 9th to 11th on Sweet peas pantry too well established facebook page. All instructions for entering the auction will be posted along with the photos, dimensions, and medium of each work of art.

Sweet peas pantry too; Vintage and Repurposed is one Vintage and collector’s shop in Osgoode with over 100 vendors including 50 local artisans. They often support local charities through their income like The Osgoode Care Center, The Gorgeous Grandmas, Grandmas All About Kids, The Kars Women’s Institute, Empties for Paws Pet Rescue, St. James United Church, Breast Cancer Action Resource Center, and others local charities.

The Osgoode Township Museum tells the story of Ottawa’s rural and agricultural heritage.
