The Chase Celebrity Christmas special saw some of the UK’s biggest stars win £ 200,000 for charity – but some claim the show was rigged.
Celebrities Jenni Falconer, Lesley Joseph, Judge Jules and Patrick Kielty took on The Chaser Shaun Wallace.
In the final round, the team took the lead – and pocketed their charity the massive amount.
The celebrities clapped and celebrated The Chase host Bradley Walsh told them, “All I can say is, well done. Guess what you weren’t caught, you passed the Chaser. ‘
Shaun, admitting defeat, added, “Fantastic performance, well done.”
The stars played for four charities – Children’s Trust, Cancer Research UK, Acting for Others, Cancer Fund for Children. Their prize fund means that each charity will receive £ 50,000.
Some home viewers were thrilled to see such a big win, with, writing on Twitter: “An incredible performance on #TheChase by @Jennifalconer and a team taking home £ 200,000 for their chosen charities.”

Wow, Patrick Kielty took a big risk for the £ 179,000 on #The hunt and it paid off for the team to win £ 200,000. I like people who can take risks. #risks

Meanwhile, others were less impressed with the stage, with a handful saying the show was “fixed” and “so rigged”.
Now I know these are thick celebrities. I know it’s Christmas. I know it’s for charity, but please! You might as well just give them the money and save us all trouble. Thank goodness I saved it so I could move quickly. #embarrassing #the hunt
