BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Hack/Reduce, a nonprofit organization focused on creating talent and technology for Boston’s big data economy, today announced that Beasley Media Group WBOS (ROCK 92.9) is an official media partner of Technology takes on cancer‘s (TTC) charity event to be held on June 21, 2022, at Sinclair in Cambridge from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. WBOS veteran, Boston airline personality Adam 12 will also be the event’s emcee.
TTC harnesses the power of Boston’s tech community to raise awareness and fund pediatric cancer causes. Since 2012, TTC has raised over $2 million in donations for organizations focused on pediatric cancer treatment and research, including Saint Baldrick and A mission.
The upcoming event features a karaoke-style “battle of the tech rockstars”, where 12 tech executives – aka “star performers” – can live out their dreams of becoming rock and roll superstars in front of screaming, cheering crowds. by a live band.
