BUCKHANNON – Orion Strategies, a multi-state strategic communications and public relations firm, recently welcomed Brett Miller to its ranks as Chief Research Officer.
Orion Strategies’ research division regularly runs focus groups, polls, change of location surveys, media audits, memos and opposition research for business, thematic campaigns, academia , the media, advocacy organizations, industry associations and law firms.
“I am delighted to join the professional staff of Orion Strategies, especially at this stage of the company’s growth”, Miller said.
Miller comes to Orion Strategies with 15 years of experience as an archivist at the Anne Merner Pfeiffer Library at West Virginia Wesleyan College, most recently as Director of Library Services.

Miller received a Masters of Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2011 with a specialization in Archives, Preservation and Records Management, then interned at the National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian Institute.
Miller has served on the boards of many historical and civic organizations, plays a number of instruments in a professional manner, and is a published author.
