Inverclyde Halloween gig to raise money for charities

A SPOOKTACULAR bunch of big-hearted musicians are gathering at a legendary venue in Inverclyde this Halloween – and the tunes will raise money for charity.

The Loreto Club will be welcoming Rebekah Kirk, Emanon, Timbed Crooker and Kobra Klutch on Saturday October 30th.

The Halloween charity event was organized by Emanon singer Lynn Wilson, her husband Brian and Inverclyde musician Stephen Galli, and all proceeds will be shared between Macmillan Cancer Support and Ardgowan Hospice.

Lynn said the gig was organized to draw music fans back out and thank the charities for their great work.

She added, “These charities have a place in the hearts of all musicians involved.

“You are doing a fantastic job out there in our communities and across Scotland.

“We lived in Inverclyde for years and were always tuned into the music scene here.

“We did a charity night with Timbed Crooker about three years ago and it was a huge hit.

“When Halloween approached, we just wanted to have fun for a good cause.”

The Loreto Club Show will be Emanon’s first in-person appearance in front of a live audience.

Inverclyde favorite Kobra Klutch is also celebrating its 10th anniversary this evening.

To raise even more money for the charities, there will be a raffle at the end of the live performances.

Lynn hopes the Night of Horrible Melodies will help raise a huge amount of money.

She added, “Everyone has been locked in the house for that long.

“The gig gives people a chance to dress up and have fun while raising money for two great charities.”

The doors open at 7 p.m.

Tickets for £ 10 can be purchased in the evening at the box office or via
