CHEVY CHASE, Md., December 23, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – The International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) is leading a powerful public education campaign to highlight the importance of doctor-patient relationships in treating disease. Lyme and other chronic diseases. The campaign kicked off this month on a jumbotron in Times Square in New York City.

The jumbotron video highlights the challenges physicians in bureaucratic institutions face when trying to treat patients. The video sends viewers to ILADS.ORG website for more information. (Click to watch the video).

ILADS supports the physician’s freedom of treatment and the patient’s right to choose the best available treatment options, without bureaucratic interference. The first duty of a physician is to give priority to the patient. Interference from outside limits a physician’s ability to provide optimal care.

“We want to restore real health care for our patients and allow physicians to prescribe the best possible treatments without interference from insurance companies and other bureaucracies,” said Dr. Steven J. Bock, Chairman of the Board. administration of ILADS.

The jumbotron is anything but invisible. The giant video screen is 29 feet high and 56 feet wide and is strategically positioned at 1500 Broadway, at the corner of 44th Street and 7th Avenue in New York City. The spot will operate 5 times per hour for 36 days. It is estimated that 1.6 million people pass through Times Square every day. The spot will remain in place during the December holidays and New Years celebration for additional exposure.
