Go for Gold this month to educate children about childhood cancer

To celebrate International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, LOVE, NILS, one of Singapore’s leading child cancer charities, is encouraging everyone to join them in a month-long awareness and fundraising campaign.

Symbolized by a golden ribbon, LOVE, NILS calls on companies, schools, individuals and the public to “get gold” in September and “put children’s cancer in the spotlight”.

With loads of fun ways to get involved – from wearing a gold ribbon, through social media, or even organizing a gold-themed event at home, school, or the office – this is a great opportunity to raise much-needed awareness and money for kids and their families struggling with a cancer diagnosis.

For those who want ideas on how to get involved in Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, LOVE, NILS has created a handy downloadable toolkit called “Go for Gold” with creative suggestions.

Lesli Berggren, Founder and Managing Director of LOVE, NILS, said: “We would be delighted if as many people as possible join us in the fun in September and ‘Shine a Light on Childhood Cancer’! With the fantastic support of everyone, it will be LOVE help, NILS draws attention to this disease and continues to help us run programs that support children with cancer and their families during the trauma of childhood cancer in gold! “
