Chikadze will be honored for this award at the UFC 2022 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, presented by Toyo Tires, part of the UFC’s 10th annual International Fight Week. The event takes place Thursday, June 30 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will be streamed live on UFC FIGHT PASS.

In 2014, Giga and her sister, Keso, created The Knockout Cancer Foundationa non-profit organization whose mission is to help people battling cancer with financial support for medical bills, chemotherapy and medical evaluations.

The siblings started their charity after the death of their mother, Nino, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2013. While her mother was undergoing chemotherapy treatments, Giga witnessed the hardships that many families endure, which inspired him and his sister to start helping others in similar situations.

Since the beginning of their founding, the Chikadzes have launched a series of campaigns to help raise funds for families located in the United States, Armenia, Cuba, Haiti, Ukraine and their native Georgia, providing support financial and facilitating donation assistance for more than 200 people. during their cancer treatment.
