Police in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, have arrested members of a sex torture thug who blackmailed people through “strip chat,” the ANI news agency reported on Saturday.

The arrests were made on Friday, police (city) superintendent Nipun Agarwal was quoted by ANI as saying. He added that some suspects were blackmailing people through nude video clips.

Eight bank accounts of the defendants were also confiscated, said the police officer.

A few days ago, police in Mumbai blew up sex tourism thugs and arrested two people. They also saved two victims.

Police set up a trap at Mumbai Airport with police officers acting as customers after being informed about a woman who runs the sex tourism racket with a partner. The woman was arrested under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act in 2020, according to police.

A trip to Goa was organized and two girls were completed by the defendants as stated in the release.

“A trap was set at the airport where the three girls met an officer and others who acted as decoys. Money and plane tickets were exchanged, and on a signal they received, the team arrested the three women,” the police said in a press Note.

The main defendant was arrested with the help of the CISF and airport police. She was held in custody for investigation, where she confessed to her crime. She was later brought before a court that granted police custody for one day.
