FREMONT, CA – The 4th of July holiday weekend is underway. So it’s time to find out what Independence Day parades, fireworks and festivities are happening in 2022 near you in Fremont and across East Bay.

Note that not all 4th of July events take place on this date, with several being spread throughout the weekend. And always confirm with the organizers that the events are going as planned.

JULY 4: 4th of July Parade, Fireworks and All-Day Festival. A pancake breakfast starts the day fun.



JULY 2-4: Fortinbras – Not Quite Shakespeare in the Park. “A humorous tale, but with a real message for our times – the importance of TRUTH!” at the Kensington Amphitheater.

4TH JULY: 4th of July Marina Fest & Fireworks. Not planned for 2022.



4TH JULY: 4th of July Parade. The little ones can have fun, as no registration is required for Kiddie Parade.



JULY 4: Aquafitness/aquagym. The Independence Day Course has been added to kick off the holiday.

4TH JULY: 4th of July ‘Stars & Stripes’ 5K, parade and fireworks. A busy Independence Day!



4TH JULY: 4th of July Kiwanis Parade. This year’s theme: “Celebrating our local Olympians.



JUNE 28-JULY 5: Safe & Sane 4th of July Fireworks Kiosk Sales. More than a dozen non-profit organizations are opening booths throughout the city.

JULY, 1ST:“Picnic Flix” outdoor movie: Emerald Glen Park. Perfect family kick-off for the holiday weekend.

4TH JULY: Parks approved for safe and healthy 4th of July fireworks. Four parks designated for fireworks.



4TH JULY: WorldOne 4th of July Festival – Music, Art, Food and Family Fun. The annual “local institution” returns.



4TH JULY: 4th of July Parade and Flyover. “Our live show is BACK!”

4TH JULY: Free Tri-City Nonprofit Alliance 4th of July Parade After-Party. Features booths, games, giveaways, music, family activities and live entertainment.



JULY 2: Independence Day, Group and Family Games: Meek Mansion. With outdoor activities, historical games, crafts and Blues Bottle Band.



4TH JULY: 4th of July Fireworks and Community Event. Collaboration between the cities of Hercule & Pinole.



JULY 3: 4th of July Weekend Celebration at the McGrail. With music, barbecue and wine.

4TH JULY: 4th of July fireworks. DJ planned, plus free glow sticks for kids, while supplies last.



4TH JULY: 4th of July Flag Raising and Hometown Parade. Decorated bike parade for kids also included!

JULY 4: July 4 fireworks: Marina. The show starts around 9 p.m.



4TH JULY: July 4 Pool Party, Concert & Fireworks. The fun also includes food trucks, a children’s playground, a climbing wall, RC cars, a video game truck and more!



4TH JULY: 4th of July Dog Parade, Concert and Fireworks. Enjoy the House Rockers show at 7 p.m., followed by an extravagant fireworks display.



4TH JULY: July 4 ALCO Firefighter Pancake Breakfast. With classic car exhibition, magician and more.



4TH JULY: Annual 4th of July “Welcome Back” Picnic in the Park: Joaquin Miller Park. Including sports, food offered for a small donation, dance competition and entertainment.

4TH JULY: A’s vs. Blue Jays and 4th of July Fireworks: Oakland Coliseum. The game starts around 6 p.m., with a post-game fireworks display.

4TH JULY: 4th of July Cruise and Fireworks: USS Potomac. Usually sells out quickly, so book fast.



4TH JULY: 4th of July Pancake Breakfast, Parade & Concert. The raising of the flag, Fun Run For A Reason and the sale of books at the library are also planned.



4TH JULY: 4th of July Parade and Pancake Breakfast. The community picnic follows the parade.



4TH JULY: 4th of July Fireworks and Community Event. Collaboration between the cities of Hercule & Pinole.



JULY 4: 4th of July firecracker race, parade, party and fireworks. Party in Park also includes kiddie rides, food, inflatables and live music.

4TH JULY: Jinx Jones and the Kingtones live at Pleasant Hill Park. “Bring your dancing shoes and good vibes!”



JULY, 1ST: Fireworks Spectacular: Alameda County Fair. The fairground show is free with fair entry and begins after the concert.

4TH JULY: Independence Concert at the Alameda County Fair. The Eternity Band will perform on the Grand Stand stage.

4TH JULY: Community Orchestra 4th of July Concert: Lions Wayside Park. A community tradition!



JULY 3: 3rd of July Fireworks Celebration: Marina Bay Park. The community event, with music and food, is back!



4TH JULY: 4th of July Fireworks: Fisherman’s Wharf. Two barges will launch fireworks over the bay.

4TH JULY: Independence Day Pub Crawl and Hot Dog Tasting Contest. 4th of July inspired costumes encouraged!

4TH JULY: Free Uber, Lyft & Cab Rides Provided By Chuck Geerhart’s Law Firm. For trips within the city of SF.

4TH JULY: Golden Gate Park Band 4th of July Concert: Golden Gate Park. Free annual event with works by Gershwin, Souza, Copland Leroy Anderson and more.



JULY 1-3: 4th of July Weekend Fireworks: SJ Giants Baseball. “With fireworks all three nights of Independence weekend.”

4TH JULY: 4th of July Rose, White & Blue Parade & Festival. “Food trucks, entertainment, art and community!”

4TH JULY: 4th of July Fireworks: Discovery Meadow Park. The Rotary Club of San Jose is bringing fireworks back to San Jose.”

JULY 30: SJ Giants & Hiller Aviation Museum Night of Flight & Fireworks. Mark your calendars for more fireworks and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Hiller Aviation Museum.



JULY 4: San Leandro Historic Railroad Society July 4 Open House. Check the organization’s website for updates on the tentative event featuring model railways.



JULY 4: 4th of July Celebration: Community Center. Pre-registration required and no fireworks this year.



4TH JULY: 4th of July Celebration Concert: Central Park Amphitheater. Patriotic music from Olympia Fields, tribute to veterans and popular group Pride & Joy.



JULY 3: July 3 “Hops & Creek Brewfest”: Civic Park. “Come spend part of your 4th of July holiday weekend at Walnut Creek Civic Park.”

4TH JULY: 4th of July celebration Parkoncert. Free with Walnut Creek Concert Band at Civic Park.
